a few words about me

Read My Story

I am a coach, powerlifter, writer and educator.

After playing many sports as well as lifting, I had a big focus on basketball during high school and uni and wanted to dunk a basketball. I had some moderate success but my body was still small and lean and not very strong. In 2012 I decided to put all my focus on my strength and physique more with pure resistance training.  As I put on muscle and strength this led me to my first powerlifting compeitition in October 2012 in Perth Western Australia.

It was this moment I knew I fell in love with the barbell, competition and strength training. I continued to improved my physique, strength, power, and health for many years. I also unfortunatley had a few low back issues which allowed me to pivot and start resarching pain and rehab with a focus on the low back and the biophyschosocial model.

I have successfully rehabed myself and helped clients with their pains and injuries. Giving them a sense of self efficacy and automony over their lives.
